Your buyers. It is added at checkout on top of the ticket price and shown to them as a platform fee before they pay, so it never comes out of your ticket price.
On the ticket amount including its GST. A ₹1,000 ticket with 18% GST comes to ₹1,180, so the fee is ₹59, plus GST on that fee.
Taxes the law requires a platform to deduct from organizer payouts: TCS of 0.5% under GST and TDS of 0.1% under income tax, both on the ticket price. They are not a Racemate charge. They are deposited with the government in your name, and you claim them when you file your returns.
Yes. The 18% GST your buyers pay on the ticket is part of your payout, because remitting GST on your tickets is your responsibility.
Yes. When a ticket is free there is no platform fee, for you or for your participants.
No. There are no setup, listing or monthly fees.
